Crisis Plan

I am presenting on Region 9's crisis plan for their Head Start programs. I was going to use Burkburnett ISD for my crisis plan, but they do not release their crisis plan to the public because it is a secure document. I did, however, get to see part of the plan in action. I was at the district office speaking with Becky Parkey when the fire broke out on the North side of Wichita Falls. The principal of Tower Elementary called Randy Lovelady about the fire while I was there, he informed her to keep the students inside to keep out of the smoke until the superintendent, Mr. Taylor, arrived. One thing we need to especially keep in mind when dealing with fire or other chemicals in the air, is our students with asthma.
